THE BLESSED

HALLELUYAH! HALLELUYAH!! HALLELUYAH!!!

RELEASE DATE: November 02, 2020

WEEK: 45 (November 02 – 08, 2020)

WEEKLY BIBLE READING: Psalm 1: 1 – 2

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and on His law, he meditates day and night.

INTERPRETATION:

We cannot lose our sight of the fact that someone watches over all of our doings. As the bible is very clear on the rewards of the wicked and those that associate and/or benefit from the wicked. When a man or woman acts in accordance with the admonishment of the wicked or he/she associates and imitates the ways and lifestyles of sinners. Such individuals have then decided to live their lives contrary to the commands and laws of God.

When our delights are in keeping the commands of God, seeking to know His ways, He will bless our ways and endeavours. This can be likened to a child that gets close to his/her father, he/she listens to his/her father’s instructions and cares for him by paying attention to his needs and learning his good ways. It is only natural that the father will love this child back and even more, whatever good and the appropriate thing the child asks his/her father he/she gets. The father will make sure he provides for his child, so we are like a child in the hands of God and he knows our every need.

PRAYER:

Jehovah, Jesus Christ, Holy Michael to you O lord we raise our voices this day and put before you this week and beyond, we pray that you turn our ears away from the counsel of the wicked ones, guard our minds that they will not conform to the admonishments of the evil one and that we will not pick interest in the ways of sinners or sit to mock those that are less privileged, rather we will rejoice in your words and laws that we become blessed amongst our peers and our generation in Jesus Christ name we have prayed.
